I can't seem to think of any catchy titles today.

I think many of you will be pleased to know I've started writing for my Ashikabi no Shinobi story. Yesterday I was able to crank out 3,736 words for chapter 24, and I hope to do the same today after I get off work.

You guys are kinda lucky right now. There's not a whole lot going on in my life at the moment, that's why I'm capable of writing so quickly.

Now, because I don't have a whole lot to write about today, I've decided to leave you guys with an awesome picture. This is what the Vampire chick in my Harry Potter story looks like:

The Answers to all your questions

Many of you seem to have realized this already, but the way Alchemy works in my story was taken directly from Fullmetal Alchemist. In fact, the description of how Alchemy works was almost quoted word for word from the Fullmetal Alchemist page on Wikipedia.

There are only a few differences in FMA Alchemy and the Alchemy in my story. The first is that in FMA, Alchemists use the power of the world to power their Transmutation Circles. In my story, Alchemists use their own magic. The second is that there is no Gate of Truth. Sorry to all of you who were hoping Harry would meet God, or whatever that creepy dude who looked like a black silhouette was, but he doesn't exist in this story.

A number of people disliked how much detail went into the chemistry part of this chapter where I was describing the chemical compound of Mercury. Don't worry, this was pretty much a one time thing. The reason I had it was because Harry is just starting to learn Alchemy, and I wanted to show all of you his thoughts, as well as another part of his character. I feel it's important for you to understand how he thinks. Harry is first and foremost in this fic, a scientist when it comes to magic.

Perennelle's Attitude Problem.

Some people liked her attitude and some people didn't, citing that she was supposedly super kind and giving and compassionate in JK Rowling's books and she acts like a harpy in this story.

Personally, I find my version of her more realistic than JK's. Let's face it, JK Rowling was writing for children. Naturally, everybody except for the bad guy is going to be good and kind and compassionate.

The way I see it, Perennelle and her husband have been around for 600 years. That's got to create some major change in the way they perceive other people. They are immortal, they are wealthy, and they have seen and done more things than anyone else alive today. It would not surprise me if they saw everyone around them as inferior for these reasons.

Plus, Perennelle is a Veela. For those of you who guessed it, you get a cookie. For those of you who didn't, you probably need to read up on your Harry Potter. I would suggest wikipedia.

Anyways, Perennelle is a Veela. It has already been shown in the original books that Veela are, by their nature, kind of haughty and arrogant. They are beings who are the epitome of female perfection, and they know this. Naturally, this would just add another reason why Perennelle feels she is above everyone else.

Vampire Princess?

Yes, the girl who Harry rescued is the vampire who will play an important roll in the story to come. While she won't play a large part in Harry Potter and the Heir of Slytherin, or even the third book, she will become a significant character in the fourth and fifth ones.

Someone suggested to me in a review that I should have not put her in this story until later. While that is not a bad suggestion per se, it's not a viable option either. There is a reason I introduced her now. That reason being that if I didn't, I would not have another chance to introduce her. The simple fact is, this was the ONLY time I could reasonably introduce her character without making it feel forced. There was just no other way.

Lisa Trolling.

A lot of people seem to have misinterpreted the scene between Harry and Lisa. That scene was put there for no other reason than comedy purposes. You don't honestly think Lisa would force Harry to buy her clothes, do you? My god people, you really need to stop taking everything that happens in this story so literally.

Now, I'm not going to try and force you guys to like Lisa. I personally like her, but then, I based her off one of my best friends, so I guess I'm biased. But at the very least, you guys should learn to understand why I have her in this story.

Next Chapter.

With all that out of the way, I can inform you guys that I am starting on the next chapter. I have already written 2,469 words, though I can't give an exact date on when the next update will come. I'm going to be working on my Ashikabi no Shinobi story as well, since I feel like I've been keeping fans of that story waiting for a new chapter long enough.

That being said, the update will probably some time within the next two weeks. Maybe. Provided life doesn't get in the way.

Thoughts on Shifts in Life

So, a few people are wondering about my Shifts in Life story and where I plan on taking it. Most are asking whether or not I have anymore filler chapters like my Bird Arc.

To be honest, I do not even consider the Bird Arc a 'filler' chapter like most people would. While the story only moves a little bit in this arc, it was necessary for my plot to move forward. Two important things happened in this arc.

The first was the moment between Naruto and Toki. More specifically it was the moment after Naruto ran out on Toki. I won't go into details about why this is important, other than that it will help you understand what Naruto's relationships with females is going to be like.

The second was Jiraiya informing Naruto about his parents. This is incredibly important due to how it will effect Naruto's development later on in life. Will he forgive Jiraiya? Will he be angry at him? What kind of reaction will he have towards this new information? And how will this effect his growth as a person? A lot of character development is going to come from this.

Now, for those who are curious to know. Yes, there will be two more 'filler' arcs after this. Both are important to Naruto's character and will cover the entire 'three year training' period. I plan on doing this with several time skips.

The next arc is actually going to be based around the Guardians of the Crescent Moon movie. I won't go into details because I don't want to ruin anything. Suffice to say, this chapter will cover Naruto's response to learning about his parents and how it effects his growth.

The third arc will happen after a large time skip. Naruto will be nearing the end of his training and will be nearing 15 years of age. This arc will be the Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow arc starring Princess Koyuki. This arc will be important in show casing Naruto's growing skill, as well as revealing more on Naruto's psyche when it comes to intimate relationships.

Another thing I wanted to mention was the strength of current ninja from ninja of yesteryear.

A number of people commented on how I was being unreasonable in saying that ninja of the past would kick the ass of Naruto's generation of ninja. When I wrote this, I did not mean to say that every ninja was more powerful than ninja of this era. I was merely stating that a number of the ninja back then are more powerful than the ninja now.

While beings like Madara and Hashirama are the epitome of shinobi prowess, there are other ninja from back than and around that time who are also much stronger than many of the current generation. Ninja like the Kingin Kyodai, The third Raikage, Mu, Hanzo the Salamander and so on. These ninja were were exemplars of their kind. Hanzo in particular had been said to be one of the strongest ninja of all time, able to defeat all three Sannin during the Second Shinobi War. Hell, he was the one who gave them the title Sannin. The Third was known for going toe to toe with Gyuki and matching him! Fighting and matching the strength of a Bijuu! Not many people can claim that, and I doubt any of this generations ninja could do that, sans maybe Naruto now that he's working with Kurama.

And lets not forget the Second Hokage. We just recently learned that Minato's Hiraishin was actually created by Tobirama and not Minato, and the Second even went a step further by creating the 'flying thunder god slash' which utilized kenjutsu to inflict devastating wounds.

This is why I wrote that. Compared to these monsters, normal shinobi of Naruto's era are much weaker.

Hard at Work

I believe I told you all that I would finish my Shifts chapter some time yesterday, and that is officially done. Now I am going to be working on my Harry Potter chapter and finishing that up.

It's already nearing completion, so I don't actually have that much to write. I may even be able to finish it some time today, though I don't want to make any promises just in case I am wrong.

Does anyone else find it bothersome that updates are still coming in slowly? I remember a time where I would get an update to at least two or three stories a day. Now I'm lucky if I get an update to one every few days.

The only person writing who seems to be making fast updates is Megamatt09, and as interesting as his stories are, his English is horrible.

I did just get an update to The Newest Challenger, however, which is pretty awesome. On the other hand, one of my favorite Harry/Crossover stories, Rise of the Arcane, seems to be discontinued because Angeldoctor lost all of his notes. That's depressing.

In either event, hopefully I will be able to put out my next Harry Potter chapter today so that at least you guys will have something interesting to read.

The Home Stretch

You will all be pleased to know that chapter 41 is almost done. I now have 10,578 words written, and suspect that I will only need about 2,000 to 4,000 more to finish the chapter. Then the Cursed Warrior arc will be complete, and we can move onto better things.

I have confidence that this chapter will be posted sometime today.

Now then, since I don't have much to talk about in regards to my fanfiction stories, I figured I might as well talk about other people's story. I have here a list of stories that I think many of you will enjoy, if you haven't already:

Naruto stories:

The Sealed Kunai: This is a pretty damn popular story. I'm pretty sure most of you have read it, but if not, here is a link to it. The Sealed Kunai.

Better Left Unsaid: Another Kenchi618 story. This one is a major AU from the canon, which makes it an incredible read as we don't see many of these done well. Better Left Unsaid.

Shinobi of the High Seas: An excellent story if you're looking for Pirates, Naruto, and mass amounts of property damage. Shinobi of the High Seas.

True Warriors Never Die: The only Naruto/Bleach crossover in which Naruto is an immortal ninja wandering the world that I actually like. All the other ones are... well, awful doesn't begin to describe them. True Warriors Never Die.

The Newest Challenger: Ever wonder what would happen if Naruto was sucked into a dimension with a hot fighting school girl, a rich snobby blond girl, a femme fatal with a love for cats and busty kunoichi with a penchant for being very blunt in her desires? Look no further. The Newest Challenger.

The Number One Hyperactive Knucklehead Master: What happens when you mix Naruto and Pokemon? I imagine you'd get something like this. The Number One Hyperactive Knucklehead Master.

Iga Naruto: This is one of the super powered Naruto stories. However, unlike most super powered Naruto stories, this Naruto fights with tactical brilliance rather than just plowing his way through enemies without a hint of subtlety. Iga Naruto.

Naruto Genkyouien: Quite possibly the funniest Naruto story in the world. It's a 'what if the Kyuubi was actually a loli and the attack on Konoha was not an attack. She was just chasing her tails' kind of story. Naruto Genkyouien.

The Good Left Undone: The only Naruto/Star Wars crossover story I've seen done really well. The fact that the hot alien chick with brain tails is in it has nothing to do with it. Really. The Good Left Undone.

The Art of Appropriation: This is a story that doesn't get enough tender love and care from readers. Basically, Naruto meets Yim Wing Chun (famous martial arts chick from way back when) and gets training from her and a few others. Lots of AU events in here. The Art of Appropriation.

A New World, The Story of a Lost Shinobi: Who knew that getting sucked up into Kakashi's Kamui would land him in Fiore? The only Naruto/Fairy Tail crossover that makes sense. A New World, The Story of a Lost Shinobi.

Harry Potter Stories:

Passageways: A very AU Harry/Bellatrix story. It's actually pretty good. Passageways.

Wizard Runemaster: If Harry ever ended up on Azeroth and gained a powerful harem of Knight Elves, Draenei, Dragons, and a Forsaken with ginormously large breasts, this is probably what it would look like. Wizard Runemaster.

Last Second Savior: A very fun story to read. And yes, this does feature Aayla Secura in it. Last Second Savior.

Rise of Arcane: An interesting story if you want to read those stories featuring a godlike Harry Potter fighting against other godlike characters. Rise of Arcane.

Sacrificial Second Chance: Time travel? Alternate Universes? Hot younger sisters? This is almost like The Empire Strikes back. What's not to like? Sacrificial Second .

The Pureblood Princess: Quite possibly the only Harry/Daphne story in which Daphne is NOT the 'Ice Queen of Slytherin' and instead a normal girl. The Pureblood Princess.

Well, I think I'll stop here. These are all good stories, and should keep many people occupied while waiting for others to update. Seriously, updates are coming in ridiculously slow these days.

Chugging Along

I'm getting quite a bit of writing done with my Shifts in Life story. Chapter 41 now has 6,194 words written for it. I expect to be finished sometime either later today or tomorrow, which means I'll soon be working on my other stories.

I know, you're all ecstatic.

After finishing up chapter 41 for Shifts, I'm going to finish chapter 4 for Harry Potter and the Heir of Slytherin. I'm already nearly done with that chapter, just a few thousand more words to go. Then I'll be working on the one all my fans of my Naruto fanfics love reading, Ashikabi no Shinobi.

You may all fist pump in celebration now.

Status Report, ASAP!

Not much is happening right now, at least as far as my stories are concerned. I'm currently 2,223 words into the next chapter of Shifts in Life. I really want to finish this chapter because it's the last arc to the Land of Birds story, and I'm really getting sick of the Cursed Warrior business. It's time for a change in scenery, dammit!

That being said, I spent most of my time yesterday after work typing on that, and the rest of my time reading other people's fanfiction. And is it just me? Or are very few people actually updating their stories these days? I don't know if it's just because I'm a super picky reader, but it doesn't look like many people are actually updating their stories all that much anymore. All of my favorite authors and stories seem to be getting really sow updates and I really don't know why.

It's pissing me off!

But I digress. There's not much I can do about other authors but complain, and I doubt you want to hear my complaints.

So let's talk about something else, something interesting, like, say, Star Wars. Yes, Star Wars. For those of you who are fans of Star Wars, you probably already know that Disney bought the entire Star Wars franchise from George Lucas. They are planning on making episode VII, which has been announced will be released some time in 2015. To top it off, they plan on releasing a new Star Wars movie each year.

Pretty Awesome, right?

Anyways, aside from this, the only other interesting thing I can think of is when Patton Osswald guest starred in Parks & Recreation to create his Star Wars Filibuster, which is essentially him talking about what's going to be happening in the next set of movies.

Bassically, he somehow managed to crossover Star Wars with the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, X-men and Clash of the Titans. If you are interested in seeing his eight minute rantathon, here is a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BBhNkywMJY

Wednesday, April 24, 2013

So I went into chapter 40 of Shifts in Life yesterday and finally proof read the chapter. As expected there were a large number of errors. I'm honestly not all that surprised to see the number of mistakes I made.

I think my biggest is homophones. I've always had issues with using words like your and you're, and their, there and they're correctly. I'm pretty sure the reason for this is actually because of my typing speed. I have a 92 word per minute typing speed, which I'm sure is pretty damn fast compared to most people. While this in some cases can be a boon, it also causes a lot of problems. Because I type so damn fast, my fingers are moving faster than my brain can interpret what I am typing. Naturally, due to this my fingers will often type the words I use the most, or the words that are easiest and most common.

What I'll be working on next:

Right now, I'll be working on two different stories. First, I'm going to try and finish up chapter 4 for Harry Potter and the Heir of Slytherin. It's nearly done, I just have one last scene I need to finish and than I can proof read it and post it.

Second, I really want to get started on my next chapter of Shifts in Life. I'm on the last chapter for the Cursed Warrior arc and I really want to get it out of the way so I can move on to other plots. After that? Well, I think I may go in and start writing the next chapter for Ashikabi no Shinobi, as that one seems to be a favorite among readers.

Shifts in Life

So yeah, for those of you who keep watch over my profile or have Shifts in Life in my favorites, then you'll know by now that I posted chapter forty.

You've probably read it by this point and realized I've made a lot more mistakes than usual. I'll be honest here, I got lazy. When I finished my chapter I just wanted to post it had be done with it. Normally, whenever I finish a chapter, I reread it three times. I didn't do that here and just posted the moment it was done, so there are probably a lot more mistakes than their normally would be.

I'll probably reread the chapter some time today after I get off work and repost it with the corrections.

The Big Mistake:

I think I'm beginning to see why most people stick to one category when it comes to writing stories (crossovers not included). I made another mistake similar to the one I made in Harry Potter and the Heir of Slytherin, only this time, instead of calling Harry, Naruto I called Naruto, Harry.

This is beginning to become a serious problem. I hope I don't do this too many more times.

To Mugen Sonzai:

In a review mentioned that Kyuubi's personality feels different in this chapter than she used to in previous chapters. I won't deny there is some truth to that, but it's not really a matter of her personality changing so much as it is her getting comfortable enough to be herself.

When Kyuubi and Naruto first met, Kyuubi was trying very hard to be cordial and accommodating without being groveling because her life was no inexplicably tied to his own thanks to Orochimaru. As time went on, Kyuubi began to get more and more comfortable in Naruto's presence, so her personality began going back to her 'base personality' as it were. She's not really trying to accommodate him. She's still cordial, but she's beginning to reform back to her more arrogant and haughty personality.

Not a lot of questions. This chapter didn't get very many reviews. Granted, it's only been up for a few hours, but still...

Anyways, that's really all I have to say at this time. Maybe my next post will be longer.

Status Updates on my Stories

I figured I'd give you guys a status update to let you know where I am with my stories, that way you can make a guestimation about how long it will take before they are complete.

Ashikabi no Shinobi:

I haven't actually started writing the next chapter for this story. This next chapter is actually going to be the most difficult one I've done so far because it's pretty much all fighting. I have five separate fight scenes featuring Musubi, Tsukiumi, Homura, Akitsu, and Uzume, and then I have Naruto doing his ninja thing.

For those of you who have already figured it out, I'm basically a fluff writer. A lot of my writing focuses more around romance and character development than combat and epic battles. I can write epic battles of course, but it's not my forte.

Namikaze's Return:

Pretty much for the same reason I haven't started Ashikabi no Shinobi, I have not gotten started on Namikaze's Return. I'm at Pain's assault on Kumogakure and I need to make it feel realistic... or as realistic as is acceptable for a story based off a shounen manga. Anyways, I'm currently doing a lot of research into the more prominent ninja of Kumo so I can create reasonably awesome fight scenes, but it's a slow going process.

Shifts in Life:

This one I'm actually doing a good deal of writing for. I now have 4,443 words written for this coming chapter. I'm thinking it's going to be a bit shorter when compared to some of my other chapters, but there's not much I can do about that. There is only so many details and descriptions that can be added before it begins to feel like you are just trying to up the word count.

Harry Potter and the Heir of Slytherin:

I've gotten the farthest with this story, 7,249 words, and am actually nearing the end of the chapter. I'm a bit stuck on one point right now, trying to write a description of a building that is currently playing a bit more prominently in the chapter. I just don't know how to properly describe it, so I'm looking up architecture designs and jargon to help me.

Ugh, research, the bane of my existence.

Uzumaki Naruto: Birth of the New Demon King:

No new updates for this one coming in any time soon. As I said before this story is a writing exercise. I have absolutely no clue what I am going to write until I actually start writing it. Sort of. I don't write unless I have at least a general idea, but I have no real plans or even notes to tell me what I want to have written. I honestly have no clue when this story will be updated.

Story of the Ten Tailed Wolf:

While I do have some footnotes on how this next arc is going to go, I am currently focusing on my more popular stories. Much as I enjoy writing this story, it's just not as well liked as my other ones, which is obvious by it's lower review count. I'll probably get started on the next chapter in a month or two. Maybe.

Shifts in Life

So I think some of you will be pleased to know that I have started writing for my Shifts in Life story. I'm not as far along in chapter 40 as I am in chapter 4 for my Harry Potter story, which is now 7,249 words in, but I have written 2,159 words, which is 2,159 words more than yesterday.

I think my biggest problem with this arc was deciding where I wanted it to go. You see, the arc itself is not very important in the grand scheme of things, it's what the arc leads into at the end that was important, so I never really gave what I wanted to have happen during the Cursed Warrior arc much thought. It's very poor taste for a writer like myself to do this, but, meh, we all make mistakes.

One of the many issues in figuring out where I wanted this story to go was in trying to determine which changes should take place from canon. So far, my arc has been mostly canon with the only difference being Naruto is not working with Neji and Tenten. However, because Neji and Tenten are not here, the arc itself changes. What will Naruto do since he is on his own? What sort of changes will this more competent Naruto create? How will he respond to the threat of the Cursed Warrior and Moso? They're important questions that I never really answered when I first started writing this arc, and because of that, it's taken me a long time to figure out where I want to go from here.

However, you can now rejoice! For I have a plan!

Well, it's not really a plan so much as it is an idea, but it's at least allowed me to get started writing. That's a good thing, right?

Naruto Shippuden: NNR

I wanted to make a quick apology to those who were expecting Naruto to learn of his Senju status in chapter 24. The truth is, I had planned on him learning his status, but then I realized that meant I would have been neglecting Pains attack of Kumo, which I needed to have happen around the same time.

For those of you who are curious. Yes, the next chapter featuring Naruto he will learn about his Senju status, but that will not happen until after the assault on Kumogakure arc is complete, that way I don't split up scenes between the attack on Kumo and Naruto learning of his heritage.

The Naruto/Harry Potter flub

So for those of you who missed it before I went in and corrected it, yes, I made a big mistake when writing the third chapter to my Harry Potter story, Harry Potter and the Heir of Slytherin. In short, in one of my sentences, I called Harry, Naruto. Yes, Naruto, as in Naruto Uzumaki, that loud mouthed blond we all know and love.

Now then, to answer a few questions and comments from you reviewers.

Nicolas Flamel's surprise visit:

A lot of people seem to be confused about how Nicolas Flamel just appeared in Harry's room before Harry sent the letter. The reason you are confused is because Harry actually DID send the letter, you just didn't see it because I did not make it blatantly obvious. The change in scene from Harry meeting with the Bones to Harry spending time with Lisa was meant to show the progression of time without being overly obvious about it. I didn't want to do one those 'and so and so days passed. Harry did this, and that, and this and that'. That's a very boring way to write, and I'm trying to stay away from it.

For those of you who are curious however, about a week passed between the time Harry spent with Susan and Amelia and the time Harry was spending with Lisa. That's more than enough time for him to send his letter to Nicolas Flamel.

Evil Albus Dumbldore?

Here is something I feel the need to address before people get the wrong idea. In a lot of fanfiction stories, Albus Dumbledore is often seen as an evil, manipulative old man who is 'building' Harry out to be a martyr for the 'Greater Good' and crap.

That ISN'T what's happening here. In my story Albus Dumbledore is strictly a good guy. He and Harry may not always see eye to eye in the coming series, but Dumbledore will always be one of the good guys.

For those of you who curious, the two wars Dumbledore fought in are: the one against his former lover Gellert Grendelwald, and the one against Voldemort. And no, he DID NOT hide behind his wards or whatever, he actually fought in the war.

Harry's oblivious nature towards woman:

Many people have commented on how because Harry is a genus, he should recognize when a woman is coming on to him. I will counter argue that saying that because he is a genus he would not recognize when a woman is coming onto him... not unless it's so blatantly obvious like a girl kissing him on the lips.

Harry is oblivious towards woman because, to put it quite simply, Harry doesn't care about romance. He feels that romance can wait and there are more important things for him to do; studying magic, martial arts, studying magic, kicking ass, you know, important things.

Think of it like this, because Harry is so caught up in doing his own thing, romance just does not show up on his radar. It's like how some people get tunnel vision, you focus on this goal so much that you just don't see everything else happening around you.

animekingmike asked me in a review about how Harry could keep pace with the conversation between him and Amelia Bones after his memory had been taken for the pensieve.

First, let me go into how pensieves work. When someone has their memory taken out, it is gone until such as a time as you put the memory back in. People CAN create a copy of their memories, and even create false memories that will allow them to attain their original memory (as was the case with Slughorn), but when someone takes out the real memory, that memory is no longer in their mind.

That being the case, how was Harry able to keep up with the conversation with Amelia without his memory of what happened to Voldemort. The answer? Because of all the other memories Harry had of that time. Harry knew about the Stone before his fight with Voldemort. He knew about Quirrel before his fight with Voldemort. And he knew what his plan was for dealing with the Stone before his fight with Voldemort. Just because the most important memory was taken, doesn't mean all of them are gone. From the memories he still has surrounding that time, Harry is able to piece together what had taken place during the quest to reach the Philosopher's Stone.

Such is the power of super magical eidedic memory.

Why Dumbledore is more famous than Flamel:

Someone once mentioned how Flamel would be more famous than Dumbledore if he were really powerful. I can kinda get where he's coming from, but at the same time I don't think he thought this review through.

Dumbledore is famous because he fought in two wars, defeated the Dark Lord Grendelwald, and took up several high positions within wizarding society; ei, Headmaster of Hogwarts, Supreme Mugwump of the ICW, and Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot.

Nicolas Flamel has isolated himself from society. He does not associate himself with the magical world anymore and lives in obscurity with his wife. He's not famous because he's not powerful, but because it's been so damn long since he actually contributed to wizarding society in some way that people just forgot about him.

Harry Potter Gary-stu:

I'm really not sure what I can say...er, write, that can reassure you that Harry is not a gary-stu. I've given him several character flaws within the past two chapters alone that everyone seems to have missed, and I gave him a number of them in the first book that completely flew over everyone's head.

Since no one seems to have found them, I'll give the two character flaws that I've put in this book so far.

Harry Potter Character Flaw #1: Harry Potter is a very hyper-focused individual. When he focuses on something, whether that's studying an ancient and all powerful alchemical artifact or sparring with a beautiful American woman he tends to focus solely on what he is doing. This can lead to him losing track of time and standing up his best friend after promising to take her to see a movie, and may end up having dire consequences in the future.

Harry Potter Character Flaw #2: While Harry Potter does not believe in acquiring knowledge for the sake of knowledge, no one will deny that he is very much a scholar. If there is something he is curious about, he will attempt to find out what it is and what makes it tick. If he is having problems with something, he will research that something until he comes up with a solution to his problem.

When Harry is hypothesising on potential issues, he tends to lose focus of his surroundings. For example: Harry+Floo network = Harry mumbling to himself in the presence of Amelia Bones. and Harry+Susan's confidence issues = Harry trying to give Susan a pep talk while Amelia is listening to every word he says.

I'm honestly a little disappointed no one found those flaws. I'm trying to make them more subtle right now so people actually have to be more observative when reading my story. But it seems unless I bludgeon people over the head with them as if they were a hammer, no one finds them.

The Next Chapter?

Yes, I have started on the next chapter of Harry Potter and the Heir of Slytherin. Currently, I am 2,165 words in. I know, you're all ecstatic to see Harry learning Alchemy from Nicolas Flamel. Try to contain your excitement.

On second thought, don't. Be my guest and go crazy. In fact, I think we should have a party to commemorate this event. We shall call it... That Day. Yes, That Day. I think it has a nice ring to it.

The Start of a Most Epic Blog

Well, here I am. I've decided to post this blog for people who are curious about my thoughts or have questions they have written in their reviews on my stories.

If you are on this blog, you are probably a fan of my work and found the link on my profile page or at the end of one of my chapters.

If you aren't a fan, then I'm honestly not sure why you are here. Perhaps you took a wrong turn.

In either event, this blog will feature answers to all those questions you guys ask me in your reviews. Yes, I have decided that it is much to difficult PM each and every person who asks me a question, especially when a lot of people tend to ask the same question. At the same time, I don't want to bump up my word count with a long QA in my chapter. That's just bad writing. So here, in this place, at this time... somewhere, all questions will be answered.

Oh, and I will also let everyone know my thoughts on my stories and the like, just in case you're interested in what goes on through the mind of one of FFN.net's most insane writers.
