On time.

Alright, so it looks like we're going to get lucky this week. Despite me already working on the first revision of my story, I still managed to pump out a chapter of Ten Tailed Wolf. It will be out this Friday.

Aren't we lucky?

News that is both good and bad?

Since sometime in 2010, I have been writing fanfiction. Those of you who have followed my earlier works have probably seen how much better my writing has gotten, both in English and in storytelling. I won't say it's perfect, because I know for a fact that it's not, but I like to think I've improved a great deal over time.

For these past 3 years I've written fanfiction, using already existing works such as Naruto and Harry Potter to hone my own skills in English and storytelling. FFN.net has been my playground to create ideas and expand upon already existing ideas. Some of my stories have been a success, others not so much, but I learned a lot doing this and am still learning a good deal. In doing this, fanfiction has become more than just a side hobby to increase my, at the time, lacking talent in English. It's become something of a passion.

Now, you're probably all reading this, wondering 'why the hell is he waxing poetic about his time as a fanfiction author?' or you're going 'oh my god! Oh my god! Please don't tell me this is a farewell letter... erm... blog post!' or maybe you're thinking 'Shit man, just get to the point!', in which case, I shall.

I have long since used fanfiction as a means to improve my writing, and while I have NO INTENTION of quitting, I am ready to expand into the realm of the original (or at least, as original as something can be in this day and age). Yes, I'm in the process of writing my own Novel. I've just finished the rough draft, which is a measly 66,536 words. By the time I finish my first draft, I'll have probably added another 10,000 to 20,000 or so. I suspect my finished product will be around 75,000 to 86,000 words, which is around the size of a standard novel.

I am hoping to have it finished within a few months and published sometime after that. Fortunately, my dad knows someone who has published two best selling books. They're not fiction novels, but I figured he could help me get my work put out there. Barring that, I could always self publish it on ebooks and various online mediums, but then I wouldn't get any of the aid that normally comes with having a publishing company put my book out there.

All that being said, I'm sure you're now asking 'what does this mean for your fanfiction stories? Are you just going to abandon them?'. The answer is no, I will never abandon my fanfiction stories so long as you guys enjoy reading them. Fanfiction is still my biggest passion and I read much more fanfiction than I do original novels. I don't intend on giving it up any time soon. All this means is that my focus for the moment is my original novel, which I hope to get published. If that works out, I will likely begin working on my next novel, which will be the sequel to what I plan on making a several book series.

Harry Potter HoS Chapter 15

Faraway-R: That has to be the best explanation for why Chuck Norris did not star as The Force that I have ever heard. And to answer your question, no, Snape does not know about Harry's perfect memory.

Kid Coheed: I've always felt that Snape is a very complex character, quite possibly the most complex of all JK Rowlings characters. Now, I won't go into detail about what will happen between these two in the future, but I will tell you that their interactions will be some of the most interesting later on.

And I'm not even going to mention my pairings. Like I said, I have some minor romantic moments here, but the romance won't really get started until Book 3 and won't get too physical (meaning kissing and snogging) until Book 4.

adrian11: It's not just a matter of consulting. I didn't go into details of the contract that Harry has with Nimbus Racing Brooms, but essentially, the first group of Nimbus 2001s that get produced, are done so with his name on them as a limited broom, and the rest that are made after that do not have his name on them.

So let's say that the contract states that the first 1,000 brooms produced are limited edition Harry Potter Nimbus 2001s, that means that Nimbus Racing Brooms HAS to make the first 1,000 brooms limited edition Harry Potter brooms. In the canon, Lucius Malfoy bought the Nimbus 2001s for Dracos team hot off the market, meaning they had either just come out or were coming out. This means that when Lucius tried to buy them this time, they had given him the limited edition ones and he demanded normal Nimbus 2001s.

Now, because of the contract, Nimbus Racing Brooms cannot make anything other than the limited editions until after the first 1,000 brooms have been produced. To do so would be a breach in contract. Harry found out about this and told them 'if you sell him those brooms without them being the limited edition ones, I will consider this a breach in our contract and take my business elsewhere'. Basically, they had to do what Harry said because of the terms of the contract. Make sense?

SweetSouthernGal: Actually, the reason was stated in Chapter 11. Remember, Harry assaulted Draco and his gang and went all Sith on Draco?

ImaDenarianLordX: Actually, if you'll recall, Harry first heard the Basalisk when he was serving detention with Lockhart, which cannonically speaking would be about the same time as now. The first attack was on Halloween, and Harry heard it's voice again which led him to finding Mrs. Norris petrified. While it's easy to see why you would forget this, please try to make sure your critiques are accurate before giving them.

0 Jordino 0: Well, I am sorry you feel Ice Potion is a bland name, but if you feel that way, then you should take it up with JK Rowling, who gave it the name Ice Potion. Just so you know, this is a canon potion that I looked up on Wikipedia, so it's not like I'm making this stuff up. Otherwise, I would have called it something like Flame Deterrent Potion or something.

Which might not be much better.

Tano Narhuine: I am actually well aware of what Eidetic Memory is. I looked it up just for this story. Granted, I will admit I boosted it's abilities because Harry is a wizard, therefore his memory is enhanced by his magic (meaning that instead of simply being able to recall fuzzy images until he actually thinks about a specific memory, he can recall everything perfectly all the time), but that's about it.

To be perfectly honest, I didn't think I needed to mention that Harry is naturally intelligent for people to realize that. Canon Harry is actually very smart, he's just incredibly lazy thanks to Ron rubbing off on him and him wanting to fit in with everyone else. Basically, JK Rowling's Harry wants to be 'normal' and goes to great lengths to be 'normal', including not using the intelligence he was given to become better. It doesn't help that he used Hermione as a crutch on top of being as lazy as Ronald Weasley.

Truth be told, I've always thought that Harry was just as intelligent as Hermione, but never used it because of the abuse (aka, mental and emotional abuse via isolation and sometimes physical abuse from his cousin and friends. I don't think the Dursley's ever raised a hand to him physically (Dudley being the exception rather than the rule) except for when they were manhandling him like when Vernon threw him into the cupboard after the Boa incident in the second chapter). By the time he got to Hogwarts, he was this meek little boy who just wanted to fit in and latched onto the first person he met (Ron) that didn't strike him as a complete ponse (Draco) and tried to make Ron like him by dumbing himself down to Ron's level of intellect. Had Harry met Hermione first, he would have probably been more like her than Ron.

In either event, in my story, because Harry is not this meek and pathetic child looking to fit in and is actually showing ambition, he has no trouble using his natural intelligence on top of enhancing it with his Eidetic Memory to be the best student in class.

To Guest, Drewz05, amoghtalwar: The reason the story feels like it's going slow is because right now, I have Harry doing a lot of things in a very short amount of time. The start of the term at Hogwarts is September 1st. I needed all the things I just had in the past 4 chapters to happen BEFORE Halloween and the first attack of the Basalisk on Mrs. Norris. All of the stuff I have in those 4 chapters is relevant to MY plot.

Please note that I put down MY plot and not JK ROWLING'S plot. This is something a good deal of you still seem to not realize. JK Rowling's story is about the Chamber of secrets being opened and Harry, Hermione and Ron trying to solve the mystery behind the Chamber. My story is not about the Chamber of Secrets being opened, it's just running parallel to the original canon plot dictated by JK Rowling and will influence the eventual outcome of the canon plot.

My plot is about Harry Potter trying to leave his mark on the Wizarding World by becoming it's most powerful and influential member of society since Merlin himself. All this stuff that Harry is doing right now is to help facilitate this rise. He is taking an active role in politics, cutting deals and making contracts with leading Broom making companies, suing people for unlawfully using his name in fictional stories, creating a potions making business, trying to change the school curriculum while still being a student, hoping to erase House Divisions and creating a better facility for learning. Everything he does is to further his goals of people realizing that, yeah, Harry might have 'defeated' a Dark Lord when he was a brat, but that's not the only reason we (meaning the sheep of the wizarding world) should be so awed by his presence.

Basically, he's trying to do what Voldemort did, only taking the opposite approach and becoming respected and loved instead of feared and hated, and he's ambitious enough that he is starting as early as his second year to do this.

Not Writing as much

I'm sure some of you have noticed that I'm not writing in my blog as much. Truth be told, while I would like to write everyday, I just don't have very many subjects to write about. I mean, I suppose I could tell you how far along I am with my stories, but no one's going to respond to that, so I figured there wasn't much point.

I'll still update this blog periodically. Even if I have nothing to say I'll try and write at least once every 2 to 3 days just so you know I'm still alive, kickin' and writing fanfiction, but unless I have something important (or pointless but amusing) to say, I won't be doing any once a day posting anymore.

Gaia's Sennin, Chapter 24 Q&A

Archaicx1: My story will only be partially canon compliant. Final Fantasy 7 is a very linear game, thus, much of what happens in it will happen in my story. At the same time, certain instances are going to end up going differently due to Naruto's presence. I know this probably doesn't answer all of your question, but I don't want to give away any spoilers.

Tellemicus Sundance: Allow me to assuage your fears. Tifa loves Cloud. Period. She will not be getting with Naruto. Neither will Yuffie, for that matter. I may have a one-sided Yuffie/Naruto romance added for comedy purposes. As I said somewhere in the beginning of this story, there is only one possibility for a three-way romance -- which, by the way, do exist in real life -- between Naruto/Aerith/Cissnei, but it's still up in the air on whether I even want to go this route or not. That is something that will likely write itself if, and this is a big IF, it happens.

Still Waiting

Since I'm still waiting for some more reviews to be posted on my latest Gaia's Sennin chapter before doing a Q&A for it, I've decided to bring up an interesting review I got for my HP story a little while ago. The review was an anonymous dude named grey, and he wrote:

"I would like to point out that harry is wrong about the muggle borns they are not first generation they are all desended from squibs magic is a blood line its no diffrent then the bloodlinelimites frome naruto the truth is we have know idea were magic comes from because its a blood line my theory is the magic folk got their powers frome some type of magic creature also random info there was a muggleborn minister so muggle borns aren't doing that bad you should also check out the sacred 28 these are all the remaining pure blood familys the reason im telling you this is because blood purists are diying out voldmort in fact made it worst he killed a lot of pure bloods the deatheaters have done more harm two there own cause im just trying to show you that the purebloods society barly excists there are only 28 pure blood familys left out of thousands of magic folk and a lot of the sacred 28 and most of them only have about a hand full of living members some are extinct some are one living member there aren't even a 100 living pure bloods the only reason the purists faction is so strong is because most magic folk are cowardly pussys I mean look at the first wizarding war the death eaters only lost seven giants and two deatheater the light side lost a hell allot more the lightside are just weak they just don't have any fighting spirit and are realy stupid that's fucked up to say buts true they have no fucking clue how to fight a war"

Now, extremely terrible grammar and god awful spelling side, I find this review kind of amusing because, except for the mention of there being a muggleborn minister and the sacred 28 bit, none of what he says is true. In other words, it is not JK Rowling approved knowledge that holds any basis in fact within the canon storyline. Meaning this guy was essentially trying to tell me that his own made up version of where muggleborns come from was more correct than my own make believe thoughts on muggleborn origins because, apparently, I don't know nearly as much about my own story's backstory as he does.

Don't you always find it amusing when people try to tell you that the AU knowledge you created to fill in the gaps of information left by the original author of a story is wrong and they know better than you? Maybe I should just let him write the story since he seems to know so much.

Favorite Final Fantasy character

Since I don't have much to write today, I figured I'd use the blog as a place to post your opinions on about a specific subject today. That subject being your favorite Final Fantasy character and why. It can be any character from any Final Fantasy. I'm just curious to know why they're your favorite.

For those who are curious, my favorite character is Zack Fair. I remember that it used to be Cloud, but then I played Chrises Core and Zack became my favorite. The reason I like him best is because of how we see him grow. Zack starts out as a skilled but naive young man who goes on to become an incredible warrior with a clear set of morals. Over time we see his character evolve from a kind of goofy, fun loving and care free person to a more serious but still very compassionate individual. I remember in the game his dream was to be a hero, and I personally think he achieved that in the end.

B, how can you update so damn fast?

A lot of people have recently asked me how I'm able to constantly update stories once a week. I guess they find it a bit astounding that I can actually write decently long chapters once a week and post them every Friday.

I think a part of the reason for my ability to write is structure. I have a very structured life. I wake up in the morning around 3:00 am, am at the gym by 4:00, finish by 5:45 and am at work around 6:00 to 6:15. Work starts at 6:30 and I'm there until 2:30. After that I either head out and meet up somewhere with friends or go home. If I go home, then chances are good I'm going to write. If I head out with friends, then as soon as I get home, chances are good that I'm going to write. With this kind of lifestyle I can essentially allot timeslots of when I write for my fanfics.

Another factor is time. Barring work, exercise and my social life, I have a lot of free time on my hands these days. A part of that is just due to my lifestyle, but another part is that I just make time to write. I suppose you could say its how other people make time for their hobbies. Some people like to play video games, others watch tv. Me? I write fanfiction.

The last thing I think that allows me to write is simple. Motivation. I think this is what kills most people. They're just not motivated to write anything, and when they do write something, it's not all it could be because they're pretty much forcing it to come out. I don't do that. If I can't think of something to write, I won't. If my muse ever dies out, I'll likely post something on this blog telling you that I am taking a hiatus to find my muse.

Of course, I don't have to worry for the moment. I've got plenty of ideas to write out, so I expect to be writing stories for some time to come barring some kind of catastrophe like the apocalypse or something.

I think one of the problems that people have in finding motivation is they're looking in the wrong places. Many the of ideas I come up with are ideas that come to me when I'm reading other people's fanfics. It doesn't even have to be an idea that comes from the fanfic itself. I could be reading a story about Naruto binding women to him in his search for peace (Eroninja) and come up with an idea on how to turn Pain into an even bigger enemy by making him unite the smaller hidden villages and inciting a war with the Five Great Nations. When I read other people's work, ideas for my own stories just come to me.

This is actually part of the reason I get so depressed when no one updates. Without other people posting their own ideas, I have a hard time coming up with stuff to write.

It's a vicious cycle, I tell you. Vicious.

Next update

I've decided to work on Legend of Gaia's Sennin next. I haven't updated it in a while and believe it could use some love. So there you go, there's that.

On to other news, I've had a recent case of Highschool DxD-itus. Or maybe I should say I've gotten really into Highschool DxD/Naruto crossovers. I've even gotten curious enough to read the reviews people leave.

One thing that amused me when I read the reviews was the blatant ego masturbating of Naruto. It's funny because everyone loves Naruto and hates Issei. They give excuses like Issei's a pervert and Naruto would kick his ass and Issei's weak and stupid and can't do anything right.

I find this funny because they're also describing Naruto to T. Naruto, who was the deadlast of his class and has only recently become really strong. Naruto, who created the most perverted jutsu to date (sexy jutsu anyone?). Naruto, who didn't understand Kakashi's explanation on chakra elements and needed someone to literally flat out tell him that he learned what his clone learned when it dispelled.

It's even funnier because I doubt any of these people have read the Light Novels. Issei, in the most recent Light Novel, has become a certified bad ass. He is a SS-class Devil whose body was literally remade from the flesh of Great Red, the most powerful entity in existence, the Dragon of Dragons. He has a harem of beautiful women (read 7 girls) that live with and have fallen in love with him, and is actually going to get married to Rias.

Naruto? He's still chasing Sakura. And the only girl he has at his beck and call is Hinata, who can't actually do anything because she's always passing out unless the situation is one of those life or death type moments.

It almost makes me wonder why Naruto is more beloved than Issei. Of course, I already know the answer so I don't have to wonder. Fan loyalty. Naruto is a more popular series, more people are fans of Naruto, thus they like Naruto more than Issei. That's really what it comes down to.

Even I like Naruto more than Issei, or any other manga character. I would read about Naruto over Ichigo, Goku, Gohan, Natsu, Issei and Luffy any day of the week because I'm a bigger fan of Naruto than I am those other manga. That's just how it is.

Chapter 14 HP Q&A

erbkaiser: You're probably thinking about what Harry gets out of his proposal in too tangible a sense. That's why you haven't been able to figure out what he gains from it. Harry wants to leave his mark on the world. He's the wizard who wants to be remembered from eons to come for his accomplishments. He wants people to speak of him in the same tones of awe and respect that Merlin and the Four Founders have long after he's gone. Essentially, what he wants is recognition for his own accomplishments. His proposal for the culture classes is a step in that direction and a good beginning stage to bring forth some of his ideas.

I won't say anything more, because it would ruin one of my more important plots, but when Book 6 comes out, you'll look back on this moment and 'oh! So that's why Harry made those culture classes!'.

ElectroVenik: What you say is true, but do not forget Harry is still young. He doesn't always think of everything. You may have found the hints I left, but Harry got a little over excited about his own 'amazing idea' that some things like logistics skipped his mind. It didn't help that no one brought it up in the meeting, probably because they felt he was so young that he wouldn't understand everything that went into creating a new class.

amoghtalwar: The plot actually isn't slowing down, just your perception of it because you're trying to use JK's canon as a reference point. Don't. This isn't JK's Harry Potter. While her plot is in here, it's not the main plot of my story. The reason we're still at the beginning of the year is because most of the plot moving happens at the beginning of the year. Once my plot development is done, I'm going to be doing timeskips. I suspect by chapter 16 or 17, maybe 18, Harry and the gang will be back home for the Christmas holidays.

n0mster: I hate to disappoint, but there will be no romantic relationships in this book. Even though Harry no recognizes that he finds the girls in his group pleasing to the eye and sexually attractive, he's not going to be doing anything. He's still only 12 and feels there is no point to rushing into a relationship or multiple ones at that age.

narutoDkurosaki: Again, I don't think you have any concept of what it means for a chapter to be considered a filler chapter. You're so caught up in thinking that my fanfic is using the JK Rowling plot as it's main plot that you completely forget my plot has nothing to do with her plot. My story is based around a more or less original (I hope) plot of Harry leaving his mark on the wizarding world. It runs PARALLEL to her plot, but it is not the JK Rowling Harry Potter Plot, aka, the Chamber of Secrets being opened is not the main plot of this story.

I can't say I'm surprised you haven't realized this, but I am disappointed that you don't have faith in my writing.

LegendaryArimaspi: It was hypocritical in the first chapter. One thing you have to recognize is that Harry didn't tell her 'you shouldn't lecture everyone' because he was trying to be hypocritical, but because of the ramifications that come with her lecturing people. Hermione is a First Generation (muggleborn) witch, and as such, her lecturing other wizards, especially pure-bloods, is seen as an insult. Do you really think the pure-bloods, even those who are lenient towards First Generation magicals is going to put up with some uppity little witch from a nonmagical family telling them they're wrong? Of course not.

On the other hand, Harry can afford to dish out lectures despite being raised by muggles. Why? Just look at his titles. Harry Potter, The-Boy-Who-Lived. Harry Potter, the heir to the Ancient and Most Noble House of Potter. Harry, regardless of his history, is an important figure in the magical realm. Because of this, he can get away with things like lecturing pure-blood wizards on magic and various other subjects.

Does that make it right? No, of course not, but that's life and sometimes, life is just unfair.

A Question for the readers:

A good deal of reviewers have told me that my 'Wizard cultural class' is not an original or inspired concept. Now, it could just be because I came to Harry Potter late and whatever story(s) had this idea were so far in the back of the search engine that I simply missed it (or them), but I have not found any other story that uses this idea.

My question is this: What story or stories aside from mine have decided to use the 'give magical children born from nonmagical families wizarding culture and etiquette classes?

Not yet

I've decided not to post my Q&A quite yet. Reason being is that I want to give people a little more time to review before I start answering questions. That means I will be posting it tomorrow, for those of you who are interested.

I would like to Apologize

Sorry guys. I don't know why, but for some reason when I woke up this morning, my mind was telling me it was Thursday, thus I did not post the next chapter to Harry Potter. I'm not exactly sure what was up, but my mind was pretty screwy this morning.

Anyways, I have since rectified this issue and posted chapter 14. It should be coming up soon.

sorry

I haven't been posting on my blog much. I guess I was getting lazy this week.
There's not a whole lot to say. It's thursday, which means the next chapter of harry potter will be out tomorrow.

Crossovers

I want your guys' opinion on something. Recently, I've been getting really into crossovers. Specifically Naruto being crossed over with other anime/manga/tv shows/comics etc. etc.. However, as I was reading several stories, I found myself not enjoying a number of them.

I'll admit right now that I am a very picky reader. There are a number of requirements that a story needs before I'll consider it; excellent Grammar, witty dialogue, good use of pacing, no overly blatant plot devices and no can of insta-love romances. Now, I will read a few stories that do not have these; for example, I can ignore blatant plot devices if a story has excellent grammar, witty dialogue and good pacing, but there are some things I can't ignore like Insta-love romances.

Maybe it's just because I'm so picky that I find it even harder to find good crossover stories. Like normal fanfiction, I have certain prerequisites that a story must have for me to enjoy it. These have more to do with the story itself though, and not the actual writing.

Let's take Naruto crossovers for example. To me, a proper Naruto crossover is either taking Naruto, along with one or more characters should you choose, and bringing them into the crossed over world through some means (dimensional travel, time travel, immortal, so and so forth). The other way is taking the other world you are making the crossover with and bringing them into the Naruto world. For example, perhaps the Shinigami from Bleach exist in the Naruto world instead of the Bleach canon world.

All this being said, there are a few ways where I feel people botch up stories. The biggest one, and the one I hate the most is when people turn the Main Character into something other than the Main Character.

Seeing how Naruto is my favorite right now, we'll use him as an example. To me, Naruto Uzumaki is the son of Kushina Uzumaki, the Red Hot Blood Habanero and second Jinchurikki to Kurama, and Minato Namikaze, the Yellow Flash of Konoha. He was born within Konohagakure No Saito in the Elemental Nations.

This is Naruto Uzumaki. This is his history that you simply can't erase or change because doing so means that he is no longer Naruto Uzumaki, but an OC character who bears the name Naruto Uzumaki. By changing this history you could call him Don Kanonji and it wouldn't make a damn difference to the story.

To me, that means that giving Naruto a history in the crossed over world, like, making Naruto the son of Skanks, Long Jon Silver, Obi-Wan Kinobi or someone who is not named Kushina Uzumaki and Minato Namikaze and having him born outside the Elemental Nations pretty much destroys any sense of a crossover story that could have had. I don't want to read about some OC character who just so happens to have been given the same name as one of my favorite characters because so and so author was too damn lazy to give his OC an original name. When I read a Naruto/crossover story, I want to read about Naruto, the original Naruto from the canon Naruto world, not some OC with a passing resemblance and the same name.

This is actually why I've not read stories like History's Strongest Shinobi by Kenchi618, who is by far my favorite Naruto fanfic author on Fanfiction.net.

Does anyone agree with me? Or do you guys think I'm being overly critical?

Plagiarizing ma Work

I received an interesting message the other day from a guy/girl whose penname was BitteOrca. According to him, someone StormyRebel was plagiarizing some of my work, literally copying and pasting large sections of my story to use as his own.

Naturally, being the curious guy that I am, I went to take a look. The story is called Shoton of Konoha, and I found out that the dude was indeed copying and pasting work from one of my stories, namely my Shifts in Life story.

Excerpt from Shifts in Life:

"Can I help you?"

Naruto stiffened and almost shouted as he spun around. Behind him was a young girl that was maybe a year older than him, wearing a Chinese style pink tank top, dark green cargo pants and had her hair done up in two buns. To Naruto they made her kind of look like a panda. Or a mouse. Naruto did his best not to snicker at the thought.

"Helloooo?" Naruto blinked as the girl waved a hand in front of his face.

"Um… what?" Naruto said, blushing in embarrassment as he took a step back and put a hand behind his head.

The girl just looked at him before she rolled her eyes at the kid's inattentiveness and shrugged. "I was asking if you needed help finding anything?"

"Erm…" Naruto blinked in surprise. "You work here?"

"That's right!" the girl said. "My name is Higarashi Tenten. My father owns this store so I come in and help when I'm not on missions."

"You're a ninja then?" Naruto asked curiously.

"Yep, I've been a ninja for about a year now," Tenten replied.

"That's awesome!" Naruto stated with a large grin. "I just graduated…" he blinked as he remembered why he was here. "You know you can help me, I was looking into getting some new clothes!"

"I can see why," Tenten said with an amused smirk. "Your clothes are hideous."
"Hey!" Naruto said, feeling the need to defend his clothes. "These clothes are warm and comfortable and-"

"Ugly," Tenten finished with a grin, "seriously who wears orange?"

"I like orange!" Naruto shouted indignantly. Seriously, what was it with people continuing to diss on the color orange? It was the best color in the world! "It's my favorite color!"

I'm sure you can see it, but there is no difference between what I wrote many years back for Shifts in Life and what this dude wrote for his Shoton of Konoha. Normally, if one or more sentence were very similar, I would have assumed it to be a coincidence. But that is not the case here. The entire excerpt is exactly the same.

Now, I don't mind it when people use my ideas as a base for their own stories. They say that imitation is one of the best forms of flattery, but there are points where I draw the line. For example, copying several lines of text and pasting it in your own story without even giving credit to the original author.

I know this is fanfiction people, and none of our stories are truly ours because of it, but that doesn't give you the excuse to copy other people's work so blatantly and without even giving credit to the author who wrote it.

Namikaze's Return Q&A

Leaf Ranger: Then you might as well leave now. Madara Uchiha is going to be even more powerful than Pain. I'm sorry you like stories where Naruto is the ultimate power of the world and capable of pawning everyone and their mother because he's a Jinchurikki and all, but my story is canon compliant, meaning everything that Kishi says is real is, well, real.

jebest4781: Why would I do that? Having Naruto save the day at the last minute demeans what happened here. Besides, ever heard that old saying 'if you're going to give Frodo Baggins a lightsaber, you need to give Sauron the Death Star'? It's sort of like that. I made Naruto way more powerful than his canon counterpart, so the shit that hits the fan in my story needs to really Hit, Da, Fan.

SSJS Kyuubi Gohan: To be honest, I don't consider any of those people important. They are, at best, secondary characters. The only characters in my story that are truly important are Naruto, his girls and the main antagonists, those being Pain, Tobi and maybe Madara. The others are all secondary characters that I can kill off when I feel like it.

Karmic Acumen: Then you are going to be very depressed my friend.

Lightningblade49: I'm confused. What makes you think Naruto can revive the dead? He doesn't have the Rinnegan, therefore, he cannot revive someone who has died unless he wants to use Edo Tensei. And I'm going to tell you right now, he won't be doing that. No, Kumo and it's people are dead for good.

Posted!

Chapter 26 of Namikaze's Return is finally up, and with it, the Pain vs. Kumo arc is pretty much over. I have one more chapter, which feature's the aftermath of the event, and then we'll begin moving on to the next arc.

This also marks a point where the end of this story is in sight. I don't know exactly how many chapters it will be, but I doubt it will go over 40, meaning this will be the second shortest story in my list of stories.

Thursday

It's Thursday, which means it's one day away from my next update. This time, I will be updating Namikaze's Return. Are you excited? Are you feeling all tingly? No. Well, that's too bad. I am.

No. Wait. That's because I'm sitting on a washing machine while I write this. Weird, right? Who the hell sits on a washing machine?

I do, apparently.

Anyways, this chapter just needs to be proof read, which will be done tonight so I can post before committing to my morning routine of pumping iron at the pumpatorium, then I will post it Friday.

And yes, pumpatorium is a real word. I just have yet to get it accepted by whoever allows certain words to show up in the Dictionary. If you can point me to the people who do that, I will happily send them this word and it;s definition.
